Interview success comes from preparation. These prompts help you anticipate questions, craft compelling answers, and walk in confident.
1. STAR Story Development
Best: ClaudeHelp me develop a STAR story for the behavioral question: "[question]". My experience: [describe situation briefly]. Walk me through structuring it: Situation (context), Task (your responsibility), Action (what YOU did), Result (measurable outcome).
Prepare 5-7 STAR stories that can flex to answer various questions.
2. Common Questions Prep
Best: ClaudeGenerate likely interview questions for [role] at [company/industry]. Include: behavioral questions, technical/role-specific questions, culture fit questions, and questions about my background based on my resume: [paste resume highlights].
Prepare for 20 questions. You'll face variations of the same themes.
3. Weakness Question
Best: ClaudeHelp me answer "What's your biggest weakness?" authentically but strategically. My real weakness: [describe]. Reframe it as: a genuine area of growth, steps I'm taking to improve, and why it won't impact this role.
Pick a real weakness that's not critical to the role. Show self-awareness and growth.
4. Questions to Ask
Best: PerplexityGenerate thoughtful questions for me to ask at the end of my interview for [role] at [company]. Include questions that: show I've researched the company, demonstrate genuine curiosity about the role, and help me evaluate if this is right for me.
Your questions reveal what you value. Ask about growth, team, and impact.
5. Company Research Brief
Best: PerplexityHelp me research [company] for my interview. Find: recent news, company values and culture, challenges they might be facing, key products/services, and talking points that show I understand their business.
Perplexity finds current info. Reference recent events in your interview.
6. Mock Interview
Best: ClaudeConduct a mock interview for [role]. Ask me questions one at a time, wait for my response, then give feedback on: content (did I answer well?), delivery suggestions, and what I could add. Be a tough but fair interviewer.
Practice out loud. Your first answer shouldn't be in the actual interview.
